“An Exhibition” 2010 11”x15”  charcoal on paper…  I had to take a day off from book work and cleanse my palate, so to speak.  When illustrating a Christmas book, you can only handle so much color; so I decided to go with black and white.  I don’t really used charcoal very much, but I had fun with this.  Simple and quick, but still a nice break from the monotony of contractually dictated work..
